After a year of having its employees working from home, Accountancy firm KPMG wanted to reengage with its workforce whilst raising funds for their charity partner at the time, NSPCC.
With this in mind Massive were approached to deliver a series of events that would engage KPMG staff, allowing them to reconnect post pandemic.Due to the range of employee ages and abilities it was seen that walking would be the most inclusive event in which to maximise engagement and so the team were tasked with delivering 5 walks in London, Falkirk, Marsden, Cannock and Avebury.
The events were 20km and 10km walks making it accessible for all abilities especially with some of the routes being physically challenging.
To maximise the visibility of the event we created a fully branded event village with NSPCC gantry and scrim. An MC was present at each event, motivating the walkers and creating an atmosphere at the start and finish.
Overall, 2,000 KPMG employees took part across the series raising a total of £100,000 for NSPCC. The success of the series has meant KPMG are now working with Massive in 2022 to deliver their walking events, this time raising funds for it’s new charity partner Marie Curie.
